Made it 42 years on this great planet. Last year I wrote a book, deployed to Afghanistan, and lived a healthy life. Can’t wait to see what 42 brings!

Although guarded by T-Walls, HESOCs barriers, and C-Wire, it is hard to beat the beauty and peacefulness of an Afghan sunset. It’s times like these that one can almost forget about the war.

My new book was published July 7th, but I was unable to actually hold it until now. Taking advantage of having my book to capture this picture.
